Why is resveratrol being promoted as the new anti-aging supplement? For one, it is scientifically proven to increase longevity and improve the overall health of a person. Scientists have solid data that resveratrol contributes to healthy cells in plants. It acts as a shield against harmful objects and chemicals. The scientists now found a way to make resveratrol available for people as well so as to improve the health of individuals. Years of research led them to the introduction of resveratrol and trans resveratrol supplements that are out in the market today.

Trans resveratrol has not been tested on humans but a lot of studies show great improvements on animals. It was tested on various animals and data were taken for the results. Life expectancy increased from as low as 15% up to as high as 75%. Similar result is expected if resveratrol would be taken by an individual on a regular basis. It is a natural substance so no harmful side effect is expected.
