Why drinking soda is bad for you

Carbonated beverages

Soft drinks may taste good, but you will find that no matter what brand you choose, either to be Coca Cola, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, root beer or Fanta, will tell you that drinking is not a good source of fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium or iron. When you drink a soda, it is only by good taste.

There are many reasons why gas is not good for you; but remember that moderation is always key. If you can find them, instead of buying the regular cans, buy the small, half-sized cans of soda. • Carbonated water (tap water infused with carbon dioxide
  • Caramel (natural additive to create colors)
  • Natural flavors (often citrus flavors to taste is added)
  • Caffeine (diuretic and stimulates it can be addictive)
  • Phosphoric acid (a chemical that adds spicy or bitter taste to break down starch into sugar)

In a normal diet, like sugar intake as little as possible, which is something that will not achieved by drinking a soda or two a day.

Is sugar

Because soft drinks contain no nutritional value, there is no reason health drink, but there are many health reasons that one should drink a soda. All drinks contain caffeine, carbonation and sugar (or sugar substitutes) that be very detrimental to your health.

Studies show that soft drinks can cause tooth decay, depletion of nutrition, obesity, type 2 diabetes, and diseases heart. These are the most common health problems associated with excessive consumption of soft drinks, especially in children.

Soft drinks are full sugar, which is one of the main reasons they are so bad for you. It is recommended that only has 10 teaspoons of sugar per 2,000 calories daily, but a soda contains more than the allocated 10 teaspoons.

When this amount of sugar consumed, the pancreas produce and release more insulin, which empties blood sugar and dump it in their tissues and cells for energy. This will raise insulin levels, which can lead to weakening of the immune system making them more susceptible to disease.

Because sugar is dumped in their tissues and cells, excess body can not burn up ends up being stored as fat, causing weight gain. Weight gain increases the risk of heart disease and cancer.

It's the carbonation

Broken bones and bone fractures are common when you have low bone density. The more fragile bones, the greater the chance of injury.

Is caffeine

Caffeinated drinks can be worse than all. First, caffeine is a diuretic which can cause dehydration, if you're not careful, the kidneys to work harder to remove excess fluid in your body, slowly drying her body.

Caffeine can also reduce calcium in the body, so to stimulate the central nervous system, causing stress, mind racing, insomnia, nervousness and.

Caffeine is very addictive, so when you drink more, usually asking for more time. The more caffeine you consume the greatest potential health problems you'll encounter.

Diet Soda is bad for you

Most people grab the case of diet soda because they think it is better for your health and diet of a regular soda, but in reality, sugar-free drinks are not definitely better for you. And it's not really going to help with weight loss similar to what we expect. The artificial sweeteners are add actually impede your diet.

Since most diet sodas are calorie drinks, it is essentially tricks your intake trial calories, and because you think you're drinking something that is better for you than the alternative (regular soda), which is subconscious tells you that you can eat more.

No matter whether you drink regular or diet soda, you will find that the consumption of one or more a day will make 30% more likely to increase weight in the waist, if you opted for water or other beverage.

Aspartame (Nutrasweet) is a chemical that stimulates the brain to think that drinking sweet, actually cause more food cravings, which can lead to load up on carbohydrates. Aspartame breaks down into acpartic acid, phenylalanine, and methanol, when it is 86F, and it's even been linked to obesity.

Over 100 delicious Paleo recipes provide enough flavor and variety to satisfy anyone, and the six weeks of Paleo meal plans get you started on a healthy and enjoyable new way of eating. Start reading and following The Paleo Diet today and eat your way to weight loss, weight control, increased energy, and lifelong health–while enjoying every delicious bite.

According to author Loren Cordain, modern health and diet problems didn't start with the advent of packaged snack food, but much earlier--back at the dawn of the agricultural age many thousands of years ago. As humans became less nomadic and more dependent on high-carbohydrate diets, we left behind the diet we had evolved with, which is based on low-fat proteins and plenty of fruits and vegetables. Sugars, fats, and carbs were rare, if they were present at all, and survival required a steady, if low-key, level of activity. Cordain's book The Paleo Diet blends medical research with a healthy sprinkle of individual anecdotes, practical tips, and recipes designed to make his suggestions into a sustainable lifestyle, rather than a simple month-long diet; he even includes cooking recommendations and nationwide sources for wild game. Claims of improving diseases from diabetes to acne to polycystic ovary disease may be a little overstated, but in general the advice seems sound. Can any of us really go wrong by adding lots more vegetables and fruits to our daily regimen? One recommendation on safe tanning with a gradual reduction in sunscreen is surprising and not much detail is provided for safety issues that can accompany increased sun exposure. Still, Cordain's assertions have helped many people, and could provide exactly the changes you've been looking for to improve your health. --Jill Lightner
