Indian popular foods and dishes

Indian food is as diverse as the geographical conditions of India and varies from region to region, strongly influenced by different climatic conditions. Although Indian food is synonymous with curry, which is an unavoidable element, the staple food grains depends grown mainly in the region.

In southern India, the predominant food is rice, since it is the staple crop grown in abundance. The various subjects prepared with white rice with lentils includes idlis dosas and have attracted and become famous among people from far and near. Pongal is another breakfast item made from rice, along with dal.

In the western of India like Maharashtra and Gujarat, the breakfast consists of Dhokla and Sheera along with a cup of tea. Essentially, indigenous foods are a complete balanced diet and healthy in nature. The essence of Indian food are the spices, which offer a lot of flavor and also varies from region to region and is used in vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes.

Indian food is usually accompanied by pickles, pappads, dessert and chutneys. Indian food has also embraced kitchens have been brought by the conquering invaders, for example, Biriyani has been imported from the Mughals and has become quite popular with Indian products. This is a recipe non-vegetarian and has been dominated by the Nizam of Hyderabad. Tandoori cooking style is an important part of Indian food and is in most Indian restaurants. Garam hot masala is a spice that adds flavor and furious these articles. But you get the best tea in the eastern part of India where Darjeeling is known for it. Coconut and bananas are also famous in the eastern and grown in large quantities.

India is a vast country with lots of diversity and what is the Indian cuisine, but can be adjusted to personal preferences and the people of India that are strong yet flexible.
