Why Beef Tenderloin Steak seem to be increasing in popularity

It was not long ago when it was difficult to get a hands on fillets steak simply because of the price, but now that the price is dropping rapidly growing in popularity and more people can enjoy the delights of steaks filet mignon. Some of the best are Black Angus and silver, which are the more expensive brands, although the price does not seem to be a problem for people who want it bad enough.

Beef tenderloin filets are some of the most tender steaks, as they come from the back of the cow. There are many condiments and cream sauces that can complement and that is another reason for its popularity. You can have steak meat melt in your mouth and offer a completely different flavor and texture, depending on the method used for cooking, salsa or glazed served with condiments and marinades or rubs are used.

Among the most popular of these is the sirloin steaks filet mignon, sirloin is cut and may be several centimeters thick. They are usually wrapped in bacon for cooking, and half grilled rare. This gives them some major texture, flavor and in the end.

Some, like the beef tenderloin steaks with nothing more than a pat of garlic or herb butter. Others like them with exotic ingredients, such as topped with gorgonzola cheese sauce, crab meat, asparagus, pepper cream sauce, hollandaise sauce, salsa barnaise, red wine and tarragon, mushrooms, onions, green pepper or mustard cognac sauce. The possibilities are endless.

There are lots of different marinades there, and some of them include Olive Oil, Garlic, herbs, liquid smoke and many other things you may or may not have thought. With everyone has different preferences of meat, and while some may be better than others are all very delicious.

The biggest thing in connection with filets of beef is that you do not really need to season them. They are going to good taste, whatever you do, and people love it for that reason.

Most recommend that fans steak tenderloin beef steaks are not cooked more cooking beyond medium will start to resemble the oven, instead of a juicy steak. The reason for this is that they have very little fat, which is the reason why they are often wrapped in bacon. Personal preference dictates doneness however, so if you prefer a well done meat, you need to add fat or oil some sort to prevent drying.

For those who love red meat, beef tenderloin is the final reward, and have become more affordable if you have the normal USDA classified beef. The specialty steaks at Black Angus tenderloin, Kobe, or grades of silver are even more expensive, but some meat lovers have become spoiled reinforces these flavors.

The last big thing, but by no means least, beef tenderloin filets are low in fat, and carbohydrates which means that even if you are in the strictest of diets can still enjoy a nice juicy steak.

Pay for the Weber

by Matt Williams from Washington, DC USA on 2010-05-17
I bought one of these when I got my first grill. The very first time I used it the black finish burned off on both the inside and the outside of the chimney, and it began to rust. Just bought a Weber chimney, and it is far superior.

Salt - Is just a seasoned salt and very expensive salt!

by A Research It Maven from USA on 2009-05-01
Salt and paprika are the main ingredients plus unnamed "spices," garlic, and onion. Not remarkable, and way too expensive for a simple seasoned salt. Not recommended.

A nice companion in the kitchen

by Steven A. Peterson from Hershey, PA (Born in Kewanee, IL) on 2008-05-18
McCormick's Montreal Steak seasoning is a nice resource when cooking. You can use it as a rub, use it in a marinade, shake it onto meat that is grilling. . . .Rachel Ray uses Montreal Steak seasoning in a number of her recipes, so it has some "hipness" now. Ingredients are pretty straightforward--including coarse salt, pepper, red pepper, garlic, and paprika.I sometimes use this in a Rachel Ray recipe. But, normally, I prefer it as a rub or shaking it onto a hamburger or piece of pork or beef that is grilling. It adds a nice extra to the taste.

A blast of taste for your steaks, burgers, or any type of meat actually

by M. B Cole from Las Vegas, NV on 2008-02-13
Well..this is the third time I've tried to review this, so lets cross some fingers...and actually 'copy' this before I hit send this time..heh.I've been using this product for probably a good 8 years now. Slowly improving on my marinade for my steaks as I get older. My steaks have gone from "hey I'm young lets throw all kinds of stuff and also beer on it" to "people roll their eyes back in ecstasy when they eat my steaks"...with some help from this seasoning (as well as some other ingredients).I've used this on burgers, and even in my spaghetti sometimes. All in all, it's just a great blend of spices to quickly throw in some marinade or just throw on the meat while it's being cooked.I never thought I would actually review this, but right now I'm in Iraq, and we grill up some steaks once a week. The BX/PX sells frozen steaks and charcoal and we found an old barrel grill out back our work compound. We use sauces from the chow hall for seasoning. But I was fiending for more of a little kick, so I thought..hmmm..maybe Amazon has some McCormicks. Well what do you know...they do. You gotta love Amazon sometimes..lol. So I ordered it and it got here to Iraq in a week. Used it once already (as well as about 6 other people) for steaks AND burgers.Yummmmmmmmmy.

Wouldn't grille without it!

The BEST! Lots of Salt... Sprinkle generously on a steak before grilling on CHARCOAL! Never cook on a gas grill!
