5 best places for seafood on the west coast

Nothing disappoints a traveler more to finally get to go to a restaurant at sea, only to find seafood that is soft, it is not fresh. As we all know, the best seafood is fresh and that is why many people out of their way to go to coastal seafood restaurants. The assumption is that if restaurants are in the sea, then they will not have to freeze fish before preparation.

1) Bluewater Grill in Redondo Beach, California, overlooking the marina Redondo and has a variety of fresh fish that is very impressive. Many dishes are simple but very tasty fish and seafood grilled sauteed or even local broad bill swordfish, Eureka touches the sand, Fiji ahi, crispy skin barramundi. They also have a wide ranging wine list and bar oysters.

2) The hungry cat in Hollywood CA, is dedicated to seafood classic. After dinner here you may just feel the need to suck fingers with satisfaction. A dish served is renowned toast black trumpet mushrooms, sea bass, chopped root vegetables and red wine butter, as all meals of fish and seafood, which is wonderfully sweet. If you have some picky eaters in your group but also offer some options shellfish, such as a hamburger with avocado, blue cheese and bacon. Their wine list is short but offers more than a dozen wines by the glass and its servers will give samples if you ask.

3) Castro, San Francisco CA, is another lively restaurant with a spacious dining room. This popular seafood spot serves dishes from tuna tartar, salad Nicoise tuna and huge parade clams with linguini. It also has a closed system in the patio area with a circular fireplace. The main design feature is a wall of backlit bottles surrounding the brick buildings.

4) Etta's Seafood in Seattle, WA, just north of Pike Place Market, is known for its fresh fish and seafood. Locals enjoy it, as well as tourists, and often have to wait, but the food is so good it's worth the inconvenience. The cuisine is innovative and has an Asian influence in his desire to leave behind the traditional ways of preparing seafood. Some of the signature dishes include tilapia that has been fried, sashimi tuna and salmon spice rub.

5) Finally, in Portland, OR, has an amazing cuisine worth a rating of 6 stars. There, you can get an excellent dining experience but with reasonable prices and an inviting atmosphere. The menu is divided into two sections: raw seafood products and warm sea, each with about six options. Portions are small so it is best to order two portions.
