how do i mount this rail onto my wall?

and this spice rack is going to hang on it:

there's going to be a bit of weight on it so i need to know what hardware i need to purchase. it didn't come with the item and i have no idea what kind of walls i have exactly, all i know is they're not soft walls.
and i'd need to know how to do it properly, i've never done it before. thanks!
The measurements of that rail are 23 1/2" or 31 1/2". Either one is spaced to screw both ends to a stud, either on 2' center studs (23 1/2") or 16" center studs (31 1/2"). So all you have to do is find the studs and hopefully they will be where you want your rack, unless you have solid wood throughout your walls. In this case all you need are some 1 1/2" multipurpose screws, not drywall screws as they break.
Don't know how much weight it is, but they do make drywall anchors to support SOME things. Other ideas are making a decorative 1x4 or 1x6 and screwing IT to the studs and centering your rack on that if there are no studs near your desired placement.
