Foods are like humans too because both of them can be decorated and may be enhanced with the help of accessories for humans and an additional recipe for foods. Likewise, your appetizer could taste much better with hot pepper jelly and your desserts will not be the same with praline topping.

 

A normal meal would always have an appetizer – a food or drink served usually before a meal to stimulate the appetite. However, consuming the appetizer itself is boring that is why people in the kitchen discovered a spice that is called hot pepper jelly. You just need seeded and chopped green bell peppers and yellow or orange bell peppers, vinegar, white sugar, crushed red pepper flakes and dry pectin.

 

Once you have gathered these ingredients then you will be ready to grind red and green peppers until it is thinly chopped. Combine all the ingredients in a large pot. Let it boil while stirring it constantly. Remember; always use a well sterilized jar.  Afterwards, you can enjoy the jelly and use it as the perfect topping of appetizers whether it is meat, cheese and crackers.

 

On the other hand, a dessert is always being served after a heavy meal. By definition, dessert is a dish served as the last course of a meal. Well, plain dessert is boring so here comes the praline topping. It is capable to make your dessert taste better than usual. It is just made from real pecans, butter, brown sugar and cream.

 

It is really simple to make this because all you have to do are combine the butter and brown sugar and stir it constantly until it becomes smooth. Then add the cream and bring to boil. Wait until it thickened for 3 minutes and cool it off. Afterwards, you can spread the pecans all over the pan and toast for 8 minutes or till it becomes fragrant and browned. Then chop the nuts and place them on the cooled caramel. You can sprinkle them with ice cream, pound cake, cheese cake and many more deserts.

 

These are healthy because they do not have any preservatives. Actually, you can make your own by following the instructions above but the easiest way to get it is to drop by in a shop and buy or order through online.  You can easily avail any of these anytime you want.
