South Park DVD

South Park is an American animated series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone for the television network Comedy Central. Destined for the public adult, the show has become infamous for his crude humor, surreal, satirical, and the darkness that parodies a wide range of topics. The current narrative revolves around four children, Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and their strange adventures around the city of Colorado holder.

Parker Stone developed the show and two animated shorts that were created in 1992 and 1995. The latter became one of the first internet viral videos, which eventually led to its production as a series. South Park debuted in August 1997 with great success, always earn the highest ratings of any basic cable program. Later values have changed, but the show remains the highest-rated program on Comedy Central, even after 188 episodes. Parker and Stone, who follow do most of the writing, direction and voice acting are under contract to produce 14 new episodes per year until 2011. Your staff creates each episode with software that emulates a different style of animation are the cutting.

After the initial success of the series, depending on the length acclaimed musical South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut had wide theatrical release in June 1999. South Park has also received numerous awards from the media on all three Primetime Emmy Awards and a Peabody Award.

Characters and setting
The show follows a group of four boys, Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick, and the adventures they have in South Park, a fictional small town located inside the real life of the basin of South Park in the Rocky Mountains central Colorado. The city is sometimes described in the show as "a pissant white bread mountain town, is also home to a variety of common characters, such as students, families, primary school staff, and several other neighbors. Settings on the agenda include the local primary school, bus stop, several neighborhoods and the snowy landscape around, and shops and businesses along the main street, all of which are based on the appearance of similar sites in the town of Fairplay, Colorado.

Stan is presented as the common man in the group, as the program's official website describes it as "a normal, average, American, mixed-up kid. "Kyle is the only Jew among the group, and their representation in this paper is often dealt satirically. Stan Parker is the model, while Kyle Stone is the model. Stan and Kyle are best friends, and their relationship, which is intended to reflect the real life friendship between Parker and Stone, is a common theme throughout the series. Cartman-strong, unpleasant, and obese-is often presented as an antagonist anti-Semite whose attitude has resulted in a growing rivalry with Kyle progresses. [9] [12] Kenny, who comes from a poor family, parka hood is so hard that covers most of his face and muffles his speech. During the first of a series of five seasons, Kenny died in almost every episode, before returning in the next definitive explanation with little or no consideration. During the first 58 episodes series, kids were in the third grade. In the episode "4th Grade" (2000), which, together with the other major children's characters entered the fourth grade, where they have remained since then.

Plots have been launched by events ranging from the traditional to the supernatural and extraordinary, often move to the city. [15] The boys often act as the voice of reason when these events cause panic or inconsistent behavior among adults, who usually appears as irrational, gullible, and prone to vociferation. [7] [16] Children are often confused by the contradictory and hypocritical behavior of their parents and other adults, and often perceived as having distorted views on morality and society.

Themes and style

All characters and events in this show, even those based on real people-are entirely fictitious. All celebrity voices are impersonated ..... wrong. The following program contains coarse language and because of its content should not be viewed by anyone.

South Park was the first weekly program that was assigned the television ratings MA, [20], and in general intended for adult audiences. The children and most children's characters use profanity strong, with only the most taboo words bleeped by the censors during a broadcast. The use of such language serves as a means for Parker and Stone to show how they say the boys really talk when alone.

South Park normally makes use of techniques of Carnival and the absurd, many running gags, violence, sexual content, improvised pop cultural references, and representation satire of celebrity. The early episodes tended to be shock value-oriented and featured more slapstick-style humor. [33] While social satire had used in the program from time to time before, became more frequent as the series progressed, with the spectacle that retains some of its focus on the fans of the boys scatological humor, in an attempt to remind the adult audience, "which was to be eight years." Parker and Stone also started developing more other characters, giving them more important roles in some arguments, and began to write the plots as parables about religion, politics, and numerous other topics. This provided the opportunity for the program to simulate two extreme sides of controversial issues, while liberals and conservatives alike satirize views. Parker and Stone described as "equal opportunity offender" whose main agenda is to "be funny" and "doing people laugh, "while claiming that any particular item or group of people are spared the expense of being subjected to mockery and satire.

The two insist that the show is more about "kids being kids" and "what is to be in [primary school] in the United States," claiming that the introduction of a satirical element to the series was the result of adding two more of a "moral center" for the program so dependent than just being crude and shocking in an attempt to maintain an audience. Although common, and sometimes with a tendency to be cynical, Parker points out that there is still a "sweetness underlying "look to the characters of children, and time describes children as" sometimes cruel, but with a core of innocence. "Generally, children and / or other characters reflect on what happened during an episode and convey the important lesson that has taken it with a short monologue. During the previous stations, this discourse is usually begins with a variation of the phrase "You know, I learned something today ...".

Origins and creation

Shortly after the meeting in the film class at the University of Colorado in 1992, Parker and Stone created an animated short titled "The Spirit of Christmas". The film, called "Jesus vs. Frosty" by fans, was created by animation of construction paper cutouts with stop motion, and characteristics prototypes of the main characters of South Park, including a character resembling Cartman, but named "Kenny", an unnamed character resembling what is today Kenny, and two near identical unnamed characters who resemble Stan and Kyle. Brian Graden, the Fox executive and mutual friend, Parker and Stone to create a second short as a Christmas card. Established in 1995, the second "The Spirit of Christmas" short (known by fans as "Jesus vs. Santa") seemed style of the later series more closely. Graden sent copies of the video to several friends, and from there it was copied and distributed, including the Internet, where became one of the first viral videos.

In short it became more popular, Parker and Stone talks began development of a short series television. Fox refused to collect the series, not wanting to air a program that included the character of Mr. Hankey, a talking piece of feces. [46] The two then entered in negotiations with MTV and Comedy Central. Parker prefers the show produced by Comedy Central, for fear it would become an MTV show kids. When Comedy Central Executive Doug Herzog seen the short, commissioned for the development of a series.

Parker and Stone put together a small team and spent three months creating pilot episode "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe." South Park was in danger of being canceled before it even when the program was aired recently tested with Test audiences, especially with women. However, the shorts are still gaining more popularity on the Internet, and Comedy Central agreed to ask a series of six episodes. South Park debuted with "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe" on 13 August 1997.

Animation
The show's animation style is inspired by the cuts paper with cartoons made by Terry Gilliam from Monty Python's Flying Circus, which Parker and Stone have been lifelong fans. Construction paper and traditional techniques of stop motion animation cuts were used in the original animated shorts and the pilot episode. Subsequent episodes have been produced by computer animation, providing a similar appearance to the originals, while requiring a fraction of the time to produce. Before computer animation artists of an episode, a series of animatics produced with Adobe Photoshop are made by storyboard artists in the series.

The characters and objects are composed of simple geometric shapes and colors primary. The characters most children are the same size and shape and are distinguished by their distinctive clothing and use your head. The characters are mostly present in two dimensions and only one angle. Their movements are animated with intent uneven, as they are not purposely open-air offers the same movement associated with hand-drawn characters. Occasionally, some not represent fictional characters with clippings and photographs of the head real face instead of a face traditional style reminiscent of the series. Canadians in the program are often portrayed in an even more minimalist, simple eyes are bulging, and the top of their heads, just flap up and down when the characters speak.

When the program began using computers, cardboard cutouts were scanned and re-designed with CorelDRAW, and then imported to PowerAnimator, which was used with SGI workstations to animate the characters. The workstations were connected to a processor 54 - render farm that could cause 10 to 15 shots an hour. From the fifth season, the animators started using Maya instead of PowerAnimator. The study now runs a 120-processor render farm that can produce 30 or more shots than an hour.

PowerAnimator and Maya are high-end software used primarily to 3D computer graphics, while co-producer and former animation director, Eric Stough, said that PowerAnimator was initially selected by their characteristics helped keep the animators' series homemade "look. PowerAnimator was also used to make some special effects of the series, which was created Motion now has a newer graphics program created by Apple, Inc. for Mac OS X. The show's visual quality has improved in recent seasons, although other techniques are used to preserve the economic purpose cutout animation look.

Some episodes feature images of sections live action, while others have incorporated other styles of animation. Portions of the eighth season (2004) premiere of "Good Times with Weapons" are in the style of anime, while the season 10 episode "Make Love, Not Warcraft" is partly in machinima. The 12-episode season of "Major Boobage" a tribute to the 1981 animated film Heavy Metal, implements rotoscoping.Since out scenes with the start of the season 13 (2009) the show has been broadcast in High the definition, and season 12 was launched in high definition on Blu-ray Disc.
