What herbs or spices would be good in mashed potatoes?

I'm trying to replicate the mashed potatoes, chef Paul Prudomme, but uses its blend of spices that are sold and I want to buy. I'm going to mash the potatoes and saute in butter herbs then and cream and pour into the potatoes. I do not want new recipes, I use this I just need some suggestions of herbs or spices to use

People who are in natural health often try to grow as much of their own food as possible. Many people raised their own cows and goats for milk and meat and have beautiful gardens. There is nothing more satisfying than looking at your dinner table and know that contributed to most of the crop there. Herbs are no different and are easy to grow.

Herb gardens date back to the 15th century. Like Herbs have many different uses, like the types of cultivated gardens. Each monastery, heritage and rural tourism was a garden of herbs in some form. Herb Gardens are a way of life for most people. The midwives had gardens containing herb helps women, housewives who had the necessary herbs rose gardens for cooking, and English estates had elaborate gardens that adorned the property, both visual and aromatic. Here are some of the most common types herb gardens:

Aromatic: This type of herb garden is grown primarily for its aromatic qualities. The flowers are used in arrays flowers, or dried, or extracted oils for perfumes and candles. Some plants can be used rosemary, lavender and mint.

Cooking: This category probably comes to mind automatically. We cook with herbs every day and many of them are very easy to grow. Basil, oregano, dill, sage and parsley are just some common herbs culinary herb gardens. Romero also be included in this category.

Medications: For ages, people have been grow herbs for their medicinal qualities. Herbs such as garlic, chamomile, catnip (Just make sure the neighborhood cats do not discover!), Y, echinacea all have medicinal benefits.

Ornamental: These types of herbs are grown simply because they are beautiful! Although there are some herbs that are very functional and cross other categories (lavender, rosemary and echinacea are all beautiful flowers when in bloom).

By making your herb garden remember that this is an expression of your self. There are no rules that say you can not mix a culinary garden with a garden of medicinal plants, or make a garden ornamental and aromatic. Make some sketches and make plans on how you want your garden to look and what you want to do. You can add the fountains and statues, or improve the elements natural in her yard. No limits. It all depends on how ambitious you are and how green is your thumb!
