It is correct that real Indian food is all about spices. But there are wide varieties of species for specific taste and flavor. Many kitchens have a good amount of spice, but that does not mean that the food monotonous in taste, as there are various options to make from the menu of Indian cuisine in a restaurant.

However, spices can provide much needed excitement in foods. The spices are known for their nutritional and medicinal values, which means you will benefit greatly from taking regular food with spices.

Authentic Indian food consists of spices, but you can choose the amount of spices as for flavor and taste. Among the spices necessary, cumin is added for fragrance, turmeric for color and red chili pepper to give taste to food. Most Indian cuisines are incomplete without a pinch of dried mango powder called amchoor used to add spicy seasoning and aid in digestion. Asafoetida, heeng called also used for the unique taste. To garnish food, cilantro is often used for fragrance.

Vegetables are an inseparable part Indian cuisine. You will find vegetables used for almost all dishes, even meat dishes are served with side vegetables. If you want to try vegetarian food, then visit any of the Indian restaurants in London or other places. There are plethora of cuisines to choose plants.

Another aspect of real food India is the use of fruit. Many of the dishes include frequent participation of nuts. Berries and seeds to find their wide use in the dishes.

At the end of deserts at an Indian restaurant, you will be surprised with the wide-ranging variety of ingredients. Fennel and Saffron is a spice commonly used for deserts. Mustard seeds, poppy seeds and onion seeds are also favored by Indian chefs in the preparation of the deserts of different flavor.
