Anyone know how to make Easy Mexican chicken in a clay pot?
Hi, I want to make a Mexican-type of shredded chicken in my crock pot, for use in fajitas for dinner later. I've seen up recipes online, but all they require tons of ingredients ... Many also call for the sauce I can not use because I have a demanding child who does not like the sauce. Is there a recipe clay pot that calls only the basics such as chicken, tomato juice, pasta, chicken fajita or taco seasoning, and maybe some onion? Something easy and simple as that? I hang myself, but I'd rather have a real recipe, so do not spoil the leg and dinner. Please help. Thanks!
Crock Pot Chicken Fajitas - Easy! - Ingredients 1 pound chicken breast (cut into strips or chunks) 1 / 4 cup chicken broth 1 (1 1 / 8 ounce) fajita seasoning mix McKormick package (or your favorite brand-found usually by mixing dry seasonings and sauces in the grocery store) in green pepper slices (optional) chopped onion (optional) Directions 1) Mix broth chicken fajita seasoning until blended. 2) Place cut chicken in clay pot. 3) Add the green peppers and onions if desired. 4) Pour chicken broth mixture fajitas around. 5) Set in crockpot and cook for 6-8 hours. 6) Remove chicken from slow cooker with a slotted low when its done. 7) Place in warm flour tortillas Serve with favorite toppings.
