SHIRLEY 'S BAVARIAN stew
This is an old recipe from New York.
2 pounds beef stew meat, diced
2 medium onions, sliced
3 tablespoons butter
1 1 / 2 cups water
2 teaspoons salt
1 / 2 teaspoon black pepper
1 bay leaf
1 1 / 2 teaspoons caraway seeds
1 / 4 cup vinegar
1 medium red cabbage, chopped into wedges
1 / 2 cup ginger snaps
1 / 2 cup warm water
Heat the butter in a pressure cooker, brown meat and onion. Add water 1 1 / 2 cups, salt, salt, pepper, bay leaf and caraway seeds. Cover and cook at 10 pounds pressure for 15 minutes. Cool and add the vinegar wedges of cabbage and place on top of meat. Cover and cook at 15 pounds pressure for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, soak the ginger in hot water. Remove the cabbage and meat to hot plate. Add the ginger is consistent with the liquid and boil, stirring to make a smooth sauce.

1 / 2 cup cocoa powder - fill with boiling water to make 1 cup
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tablespoon lard or butter
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups flour
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix cocoa and boiling water together and set aside. Mix remaining ingredients and then add the cocoa and water. Mix well, pour into greased and floured 9x13-inch and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until done.

I need a recipe for beef stew easy?
I want to make beef stew. But the last time I followed the recipe on the back of the pack Swanson broth was serious. Also during cooking. Does anyone have an easy recipe that does not require a large amount of herbs and spices. I have only a little pepper, salt, rub meat, ranch powder, chicken and rub. I just put the potatoes, celery, carrots, and beef in it.
Sounds like you have all the ingredients but getting a little more spice helps much. Stews and soups are basically a product of water. If you do not want to dilute ... soft ... is necessary to lift the flavors in the water. You need a little flour, too. Combine and shake in a zipper bag half cup of flour with a couple tablespoons of powdered ranch, a little salt and pepper. Cut the beef into one inch cubes. Mix meat in the bag to coat with flour mixture flavored ranch. Remove the meat and shake off their excess flour. Cut vegetables into pieces of an inch, the same size as meat, so it all cooks more evenly. Warm your empty pan over medium-high heat. Place about 3 tablespoons of olive oil in hot pan let it warm up. Add meat and let brown on all sides of the cubes, stirring occasionally. Not take place inside. Remove from heat and add the vegetables. Cover about 2 inches more water or broth. Do you really want, you can add some spices you like ... garlic powder or onion and bay leaf or Italian seasoning or some hot sauce? ... Or add more salt and pepper or more dust ranch. And to get that color stew, usually it takes some tomatoes ... tomato sauce or soup going to work. Mix and cover and cook until everything is done.
